THEY PAY ATTENTION...
I always put their supplements out in the morning before school, lined up in a row, ready for them to throw back a shot like a pro to chase the handful of supplements specific to each of them.
This morning Theo (age 13) grabbed this task before I had a chance. His first question: "we're out of Sulfurzyme?" I explained there is a bottle in the office but he could use the powder instead, and add it to the NXR. His next question: "an Allerzyme for Tyler?" I responded in my slightly high pitched 'thinking match-pitch tone' "ahhhhhmmmm..." (because usually, this is with food for him) and Theo said, "you know, because of his allergies right now." I could have cried.

It may seem like nothing, but for him to think of a health supplement for his older brother, whom he is constantly bickering with, told me all I needed to know in that moment:

1. Our desire to care for one another in the most simple way, means the most in seemingly tiny gestures such as this (which should never be overlooked)

2. Kids listen, and they watch.
This is how my kids will know to care for their body, and someday their spouse's body and THEIR kids.

Wellness...it's definitely a ripple effect.
